The first step in taking any college course is to apply for admission. PSEO students must submit the following:
- CSU-Pueblo application for admission
- PSEO application
- Statewide agreement
- A copy of your driver’s license or Colorado ID and signed affidavit
- A copy of your COF (College Opportunity Fund) registration
Contact your high school counselor for all necessary paperwork. - Tuition and Fees
How much will your PSEO classes cost? Tuition and fee rates are charged based on the number of credit hours taken. The school district will pay your tuition for PSEO classes, but you are responsible for fees, books, and a parking permit. Fees are $40.50 per credit hour; some courses and departments have additional fees. A parking permit is $4.17 per month and books vary based on numerous factors. - Course Selection and Registration
Now it’s time to choose the class(es) you want to take. The purpose of the PSEO Program is to supplement educational opportunities by choosing classes NOT offered at the high school. Course selection may vary based on the school district’s approval; upper division courses are exempt. Students are required to follow current catalog requirements and submit ACT, SAT, or Accuplacer scores for various courses including English, math, and science. After all required information is submitted to your high school counselor and approved by the school district, it is submitted to CSU-Pueblo. Students will then be registered for PSEO classes based on space availability. - Other Things You Need to Know
