When you’re ready to return to CSU-Pueblo, your first step is to apply for admission.
How to Apply
Requirements A cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher is required for readmission to CSU-Pueblo. Students whose cumulative gpa is below 2.0 must provide a written statement detailing previous academic difficulties, plans to overcome these difficulties and any other relevant information to assist the admissions committee in making a decision.
Academic Renewal Undergraduate students who return to CSU-Pueblo after an absence of at least three years and who cumulative CSU-Pueblo gpa is below 2.0 are eligible for academic renewal, which means that previous gpa will not be carried forward upon readmission. Courses with a grade of C or better will count toward graduation reqruiements. HB 1023-Proof of Lawful Presence in US
As of August 1, 2006, Colorado law (HB06s-1023) requires that all students receiving certain public benefits provide proof that they are lawfully present in the United States. In the higher education arena, these public benefits include the College Opportunity Fund (COF), institutional and state-sponsored financial aid, in-state tuition rates (for students classified as Colorado residents for tuition classification purposes), and any other state-sponsored payments or assistance.
Any student admitted to CSU-Pueblo on August 1, 2006 or after is required to verify their lawful presence by a two-step process which includes signing an affidavit or lawful presence and providing appropriate identification.

Registration Process Your second step is to register for classes after meeting with a faculty advisor.
Transfer of Credit Upon readmission, any transfer credits will be evaluated by the Transfer Counselors for acceptance to CSU-Pueblo. A Statement of Transfer Credit will be sent to you 1-3 weeks after readmission to CSU-Pueblo.
Registering for Classes You will receive course registration information with your statement of transfer credit. Transfer students have two registration options:
