Transfer of Credit

  • Advanced Placement Scores
    • Students who participate in the Advanced Placement (AP) Program have the opportunity to take certain college-level courses in their high schools.  To receive college credit, students must take the Advanced Placement Examination and earn a score of 3, 4, or 5.  The majority of credits awarded are for general education requirements.  An official score report must be sent to the Office of Admissions for credit to be awarded.
  • International Baccalaureate Courses
    • Students who participate in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program may earn college level credit by taking the IB exam.  A score of 4 or better on an IB exam will receive between 3-10 credits for most examinations, when the scores are sent to the Office of Admissions.  Most credits are awarded for general education requirements.
  • Post Secondary Educational Options
    • Students have the opportunity to earn both high school and college credit by taking courses on CSU-Pueblo’s campus.  For Information about how to apply, course costs, and registration contact Shawntelle Perez at 549-2644 or click here.
