Now for the first step, applying for admission to CSU-Pueblo.
Deadlines
Fall Semester: August 1
You may apply for admission after completion of your junior year in high school, and are encouraged to apply by December 15 of your senior year for the next fall semester to meet the March 1 Financial Aid and Scholarship Deadlines. Students must be accepted for admission to receive financial aid and/or scholarship awards.
Spring Semester: January 2
Admission Requirements
To be accepted for admission, you need a CCHE admission index of 86 or higher, which can be achieved by various combinations of high school grade point average or class rank and ACT composite or SAT combined score. Find your index score on the CCHE admission index chart. To read the index chart, find your SAT or ACT score on the top and match that score with your high school grade-point average on the left. The intersecting number is your CCHE index score.
You must also complete the HEAR Requirements of: 4 years of English, 3 years of mathematics, 3 years of natural/physical science, 3 years of social science, and 2 years of academic electives.
If your index score falls below 86 or if you do not meet the HEAR Requirements, your application will be reviewed by an admissions counselor, who may ask for more information before a decision can be made.
