To apply for financial aid, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA):

A PIN serves as an electronic signature and allows you to:
Check the status of your FAFSA and make corrections to your application information
Access your Student Aid Report (SAR)
Complete your FAFSA
Electronically access your applicant data records, such as your student loan history
You and your parent should apply for your PIN before completing your FAFSA on the Web.

CSU-Pueblo’s school is 001365 and must be included on the FAFSA, which will ensure CSU-Pueblo receives your SAR.
Financial Aid Awards
When CSU-Pueblo receives your SAR, your financial aid file will be reviewed. Some students may be required to complete additional documentation. Students who need additional information will be notified by the Student Financial Services Office. Once the file is reviewed and eligibility requirements are met, a financial aid award offer will be mailed to the student.
Financial Aid Categories
There are three general categories of financial aid:
Grants and scholarships - free funding that does not have to be repaid.
Loans – students borrow money that must be repaid.
Student employment – opportunity for students to earn money through part time work while enrolled in school.
