Transfer of Credit

|
Advanced Placement Scores CSU-Pueblo participates in the Advanced Placement (AP) Program which gives outstanding secondary school students the opportunity to take certain college-level courses in their high schools. Students who have taken AP exams and received scores of 3, 4, or 5 will be granted University credit. CSU-Pueblo credit is awarded and posted on the student’s transcript without a grade, is counted toward graduation requirements, and may be used to meet general education or other specific requirements. To receive credit, students should have official AP test scores mailed to the Admissions Office.
International Baccalaureate Courses CSU-Pueblo recognizes participation in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program by highly motivated high school students. Students who complete the IB program and examination(s) are eligible to receive college credit at CSU-Pueblo. A score of 4 or better on the IB exam(s) will receive between 3-10 credits of general education. Students must send official IB scores to the Admissions Office.
College Courses Taken in High School Students who have taken college level courses in high school should have official transcripts from the college where the credit was received sent to CSU-Pueblo. A grade of C or better is required for credit at CSU-Pueblo, and most courses meet general education requirements and graduation requirements.
