Scholarships are awarded based on academic merit, special talent, or various criteria. CSU-Pueblo offers a wide variety of Institutional Scholarships. Our Scholarship Application has over 150 scholarship opportunities which can be applied for with one application.
President’s Leadership Program (PLP) is a four-year academic leadership program at Colorado State University–Pueblo designed to develop and train emerging leaders in Colorado. PLP students work and learn in community, educational, and corporate settings to develop their leadership skills.
To be eligible for the President’s Leadership Program at CSU-Pueblo students must: Have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 Must be a graduating senior in high school Must submit President’s Leadership Scholarship Application Must submit 2 letters of reference from teachers or community leaders Deadline: February 1, 2007
PLP Program Elements Orientation retreat A minor in Leadership Studies consisting of four required courses and other elective courses Service and experiential learning activities Leadership workshops Internships and mentoring opportunities Lectures from Colorado’s top leadership practitioners A capstone experience where students will engage in a team leadership project
S-STEM (Scholarships for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). CSU-Pueblo has 20-25 scholarships up to $5,000 each to financially needy and academically capable students majoring in the STEM disciplines. Majors for participating STEM disciplines at CSU-Pueblo are biology, chemistry, civil engineering technology, computer information systems, engineering – mechatronics, industrial engineering, mathematics, and physics.
