Applying for Admission
Deadlines
Fall Semester: August 1
Students may apply for admission after completion of their junior year in high school, and are encouraged to apply by December 15 of their senior year for the next fall semester to meet the March 1 Financial Aid and Scholarship Deadlines. Students must be accepted for admission to receive financial aid and/or scholarship awards.

Spring Semester: January 2

Admission Requirements
To be accepted for admission, students need an admission index of 86 or higher on the CCHE admission index chart, which can be achieved by various combinations of high school grade point average or class rank and ACT composite or SAT combined score. To read the index chart, find the SAT or ACT score on the top and match that score with the student’s high school grade-point average on the left. The intersecting number is the student’s CCHE index score.
If a student’s index score falls below 86, the application will be reviewed by an admissions counselor, who may ask for more information before a decision can be made.
Students who have attended or are currently attending another institution of higher education are considered transfer students. To be accepted for admission, transfer students must have at least 13 semester hours of transferable credit and a minimum gpa of 2.3 and be in good standing at  institutions previously attended.

Any student admitted to CSU-Pueblo on August 1, 2006 or after is required to verify their lawful presence by a two-step process which includes signing an affidavit or lawful presence and providing appropriate identification.
